Fulfilling God's Eternal Plan and Purpose
We are not saved merely to be churchgoers. This third-year course lifts the student's eyes to God's eternal agenda and their responsibility to take part in it.
A plan established from Genesis to Revelation
It is important for the Church to see what is clear in Scripture: God has established all things, past, present, and future, to fulfill His plan and purpose. The course begins by challenging a reduced view of salvation: we are not blessed only to enjoy abundance, nor healed only to enjoy the best of life. All of this is our portion in Christ, but it comes with a responsibility: fulfilling His eternal agenda for all humanity.
The seven major attributes of God's plan
The heart of the course develops seven major attributes of God's eternal plan and purpose, which must become a priority in the life of every believer, in every local assembly, and in the universal Body of Christ. The first sets the tone: God's love for all humanity, revealed and received. As 1 John 4:8 says: "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." In Jesus, God was finally able to wrap the fullness of His love in flesh and blood.
