The diagnosis: inadequate resources

The course begins with an honest diagnosis of the Church's financial problems: ever-growing needs in local churches, insufficient tithes and offerings, projects blocked by lack of money, hindered missionary efforts, and a Church sometimes reduced to a beggar's mentality.

Added to this is an ineffective use of available resources: lack of financial planning, absence of budgeting and management, immature leaders who "spiritualize" resource management, and poor decisions, while the world manages its resources well to accomplish its objectives.

God's challenge or humanity's problem?

The central question of the course is provocative: has God not made sufficient provision for His church? Has the Creator, who owns all resources, failed to provide? The biblical answer is clear: the problem is not God's provision, but human understanding and management.
