Missions
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations" (Matthew 28:19). Mission is not a department of the church; it is its reason for being. This course brings you into God's missionary heart.
What is mission?
From the great sending texts (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-20; John 20:21; Acts 1:8), the course defines mission: fulfilling the Great Commission by preaching the Gospel to all nations, teaching them to observe all that Jesus commanded, training them, and baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
An important precision: mission is not passive, but active. Its definition is contained in three words from Matthew 28: preach, teach, train. Mission is making disciples.
Who is a missionary?
A missionary is one who is sent: they are and must be sent with a message and a purpose. The course explores the Greek word ethnos (nations): Jesus never limited the Gospel to certain people or a particular race. The Gospel is for every family, tribe, language, nation, and people (Revelation 7:9).
A task with two dimensions
Every mission has a precise task, in two dimensions: proclaiming the Gospel to unbelievers everywhere, and strengthening believers into disciples capable of training others.
What you will discover in this course
- The biblical foundations of mission, from the Gospels to Acts

"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." — Matthew 24:14
A course at the heart of CFBK's vision
The vision of Centre de Formation Biblique Kabod explicitly includes provoking a powerful missionary movement that reaches every nation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This course is its theological and practical engine.
Who is this course for?
For every believer who wants to understand God's global agenda, whether you are called to go far away or to send, support, and pray from your local church. The Great Commission was entrusted to every disciple of Jesus, not to a missionary elite. This course shows every child of God their part in the harvest.
