A perspective that changes everything

Christian stewardship begins with a clarification: God is the owner of the world and everything in it, and we are the stewards to whom the responsibility of managing what belongs to Him has been entrusted.

Jesus taught extensively on this subject, and the course relies on three major parables: the talents (Matthew 25:14-30), the good and bad stewards (Luke 12:35-40), and the unfaithful steward (Luke 16:1-13). The lessons are concrete: God gives different gifts and responsibilities, He expects us to use them to the maximum, and good stewardship is rewarded with greater responsibility.

Stewards of our lives

The second part of the course applies the principle to life itself: the life we live is not our own (Galatians 2:20). We were bought at a price: the blood of Jesus (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). The clay does not tell the potter how to shape it; the servant does not dictate to the Master what must be done.
